This is a complete 20 year timeline of every single piece of news or noteworthy information (credible or not) related to Half-Life 2: Episode 3 or Half-Life 3. This is more than likely incomplete to some extent, so feel free to create an issue or PR on GitHub to get something on the timeline added or changed.

The goal of this project is to have a centralized collection of all Episode 3/Half-Life 3 news for archival purposes, and to show how long we've been waiting and how many times we've been teased. It was fun digging through old forum posts and finding new info that I've never heard of.

This is an independent project that has no affiliation with Valve. Each item on the timeline links to the source that was used to find that information. I tried to use the original sources whenever possible, but in many cases I had to choose the next best thing due to broken links or deleted info. You are free to use this timeline for your own purposes as long as you give appropriate credit and provide a link to this page.
