Resistance Leader

Description

The Resistance Leader is in charge of commanding the rebel force. They are also in charge of launching the rocket at the rebel base when the time comes to do it.

Duties

• Order rebels to go on raiding, looting, or mining missions.


• Recruit refugees who are looking to fight against the combine.


• Launch the rocket and close the Combine portal when the time is right, OR raid the Combine's base and destroy their central core.

Abilities & Items

• Default Weapons - Disguise kit, Portal pairing tool, SMG


• F3 Menu Items - Rebel crafting table, ground scanner, sentry, thermoelectric generator, smelting furnace, auger drill, workbench.

Tips

• It's highly recommended that you stay out of sight to avoid being captured. If you do have to go outside though, make sure you are secured by plenty of rebels or at least have a disguise on.

Rebel

Description

Rebels are former citizens of City 17 who have joined the rebellion in order to stop the Combine and make the world free once again.

Duties

• Follow orders of the Resistance Leader.


• Set out on your own raiding, looting, or mining missions if you don't have orders.


• Protect the rebel base from Combine invasions.


• Help out or work with any refugees you may come into contact with.

Abilities & Items

• Default Weapons - Pickaxe, SMG


• F3 Menu Items - Rebel crafting table, ground scanner, sentry, thermoelectric generator, smelting furnace, auger drill, workbench.

Rebel Medic

Description

Rebel Medics are normal rebels that specialize in healing.

Duties

• Protect the rebel base from Combine invasions.


• Help out or work with any refugees you may come into contact with.


• Heal any injured rebels or refugees.

Abilities & Items

• Default Weapons - Med kit, Pickaxe, Pistol


• F3 Menu Items - Armor battery, Health charger, Health kit, Suit charger, ground scanner, sentry, thermoelectric generator, smelting furnace, auger drill, workbench.

Refugee

Description

Refugees are neutral parties who just evacuated City 17 and are not actively fighting for either side. They can choose to support one side or do their own thing.

Duties

• Support a side or survive on your own.

Overwatch Elite

Description

The Overwatch elite, as the name implies, is the most elite unit of the trans-human army. Their humanity has been completely stripped away and what remains is a ruthless killing machine. These units are designed to be frontline soldiers in the worst environments imaginable.

Duties:

• Command what remains of the Combine.


• Protect the Combine base from rebel attack.


• Assist your teammates in firefights if needed.


• Stop the rebels from launching their rocket.

Abilities & Items

• Default Weapons - AR2, Combine authorization tool, Frag grenade, Handcuffs.


• Vehicle Deployment Terminal - Combine jobs can use a terminal located at their base to deploy vehicles such as hunter choppers, dropships, gunships, hunters, and striders.

Overwatch Guard

Description

Overwatch Guards are in charge of defending and restricting access to the Combine base and any other places that may need to have a constant Combine presence.

Duties

• Follow orders from Elites.


• Protect all restricted areas that are under Combine control, but primarily the main base.


• Act as a field medic if necessary.

Abilities & Items

• Default Weapons - Binoculars, Combine authorization tool, Handcuffs, Med kit, Pistol, Sniper rifle.


• Vehicle Deployment Terminal - Combine jobs can use a terminal located at their base to deploy vehicles such as hunter choppers, dropships, gunships, hunters, and striders.


• F3 Menu Items - Armor battery, Health charger, Health kit, Suit charger.

Overwatch Soldier

Description

Overwatch soldiers are the lowest level of trans-human units. When raiding rebel bases, these units are typically on the front lines.

Duties

• Follow orders from Elites.


• Help raid known rebel bases.

Abilities & Items

• Default Weapons - Combine authorization tool, Flare gun, Frag grenade, Handcuffs, SMG.


• Vehicle Deployment Terminal - Combine jobs can use a terminal located at their base to deploy vehicles such as hunter choppers, dropships, gunships, hunters, and striders.
